Counseling

Holistic counseling is about uniting the mind, body, and spirit. When one of out of balance, it impacts the others. If you can work towards wellness in ways that impact two or more, you get better, faster improvement of all three.

The counseling piece of this involves helping the client to identify her goals, values, and beliefs. We use that information to create an action plan on how to reach the goals.

I provide support during the process and teach skills and concepts to make goal attainment easier. I also help the client to become more mindful of who she is. So much time is spent as a Human Doing that few of us know how to be a Human Being and just be present. Becoming who you are can be a very enlightening process.

Holistic counseling can also involve changes in diet, nutritional supplements, exercise, mindfulness, meditation, deep breathing exercises, detoxification protocols, changes in lifestyle and more.

Here are some counseling techniques I use:

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) –
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
Eye Movement and Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Hypnotherapy
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
Energy Psychology (EP)
Breathwork
