Maya Angelou said, “When you know better, you do better,” so we’re going to teach you some new tricks to make challenges a lot easier. With a little practice, you will be sailing through life soon.

Who Are You?

If you’re not sure who you are because you’ve been conforming to someone else’s ideas of who you should be, we will spend some time figuring this out. You can’t do you until you know who this is. You can’t relate to others authentically either, so this is an important step to life mastery.

Share Yourself

A meaningful life is one that is shared. If you don’t have healthy relationship skills, this is where you can learn them. I’ll coach you through using your current relationships so you become better and better at balancing giving and receiving love.

This is the “Life 101” class that we all missed out on. It teaches you how to function as a healthy human being. I’m not kidding. Here’s what we cover. 

Distress Tolerance

How do you avoid a crisis? What do you do once you’re in full meltdown mode? Take this class and find out! 

Emotional Regulation

Do people say you’re too much? Or maybe they say you’re emotionally unavailable? Either way, this part of the class helps you to be like Goldilocks, just right. Not because you’re following a script, but because it flows naturally and easily since you’ve practiced!

Healthy Relationships

Humans are social creatures. We have to talk to our neighbors, coworkers, roommates, families, and partners. This part of the class helps you to do that in ways that are easy, connected, and joyful for all. Who doesn’t want that?

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the glue that holds all this together. Life’s not a paint by number adventure. It is contextual. Mindfulness helps you to make the effective choice at the most advantageous time. And it makes you pretty zen, too!

Neurofeedback

Sometimes you need a little kick start when you have a trauma history. Nothing will budge without a little help. Neurofeedback might be the answer.

How Do I Know if Therapy is Right for Me?

Only you can make that call. However, the sooner you get started, the sooner you can be out there living the life of your dreams with healthy relationships, energy, success, and all the things that you’re not doing now. 

No problem is too big or too small.

Should I Start Counseling?

If you are dealing with any of the following, the answer to “Should I start counseling” might be YES!

Addictions

Alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, sex, or hoarding are all symptoms of trauma. What? Yes! Addiction is a coping skill. When you are able to cope better and heal the core issue, in most cases, the addiction goes away.

Chronic Pain

Did you know that chronic pain can be a trauma issue? Yes, the body is screaming for your attention because you’re ignoring your emotional pain. Resolve the emotional pain and the physical pain may also subside.

ADD/ADHD

You’ve probably already guessed that ADD/ADHD is another trauma symptom. It’s rare that I meet someone with trauma who doesn’t have a concentration and focus issue. Heal the trauma and it goes away.

Relationship Issues

We learn how to love from our parents. If they weren’t the healthiest, they passed all their skills down to us. Even if we do the exact opposite that they do, we’re acting out the other side of the same coin. So, we have to learn to do something different to have a healthier future.

Emotional Issues
